Vic Damone dead: US singer discovered by Frank Sinatra dies age 89

The iconic vocalist passed away on Sunday, in a hospital in Miami Beach, Florida.

At the time of writing, his cause of death had not been disclosed.

His family have told Fox News that the singer died at Mount Sinai Medical Centre, and was surrounded by several close relatives.

The late American songwriter was best known for hits including You’re Breaking My Heart, On the Street Where You Live (from My Fair Lady) and My Heart Cries for You.
