US singer Vic Damone dies at age 89, family says

U.S. singer Vic Damone, a crooner who found fame in the 1940s and 1950s, has died at the age of 89, his family said on Monday.

Damone, known for hits like “I Have But One Heart” and “You Do,” died in Miami Beach, Florida on Sunday surrounded by relatives, his family said in a statement.

Damone appeared in television and movies in the 1960s and also had hits with “An Affair to Remember” and “On the Street Where You Live.”
